On April 30, 2019, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) of the Commission released an Order extending the video relay service (VRS) at-home call handling pilot program through October 31, 2019, or the effective date of an FCC decision regarding at-home call handling, whichever occurs first. ZVRS and Purple are currently participating in the pilot program. The Order also permits Sorenson, GlobalVRS, and Convo to participate in the pilot program as extended.
