Frequently Asked Provider Questions

Who can request compensation from the Fund?

Service providers who have provided proof of Commission certification and have submitted a fully executed intent to participate form, and for VRS providers, a call center list.

To complete the intent to participate form, certified providers will need to supply their Federal Registration Number (FRN). FRNs are acquired through the FCC. See the following link for details: Registration Help

When can a certified provider first request compensation from the Fund?

Service providers can request compensation from the Fund 30 days after Rolka Loube has received a fully executed intent to participate form and, for VRS providers, a call center list.

For example, if the provider submits the signed intent to participate form and call center list on December 31, Rolka Loube cannot accept a request for compensation until January 30.

Following the close of a service month, what is the earliest that a service provider can request compensation?

Requests for compensation are accepted no earlier than 10 days and no later than 75 days after the close of the service month.

For example, a request for compensation for January service cannot be submitted prior to February 10 and after April 16 (15 on a leap year).

After a service provider submits a request, how soon will compensation be released?

Rolka Loube is required to release compensation for eligible calls within sixty (60) days of the requests submission.

Payments are scheduled on the first Friday of the month, unless the first day of the month falls on a Wednesday. For example, if the first day of the month is a Tuesday, payment will be released on the fourth. However, if the first day of the month is a Thursday, payment will be released on the ninth. Payments are not released on federal holidays.
